This patient had a history of Bells Palsy facial paralysis several years earlier with incomplete recovery. She wished to improve her facial asymmetry and to restore a more youthful appearance. The patient underwent multiple-staged surgical procedures to address her concerns. A face/neck lift and submentoplasty was performed. Post-operatively the patient has a marked improvement in facial symmetry and facial weakness. The face/neck lift and submentoplasty significantly reduced the heaviness in her neck and jowls and sharpened her jawline. Her face has an overall improvement in tone and texture.
