This patient is a healthy, 24-year old female who presented with a divot within her right check. The skin lesion was present for 1.5 years and noted to be stuck to the skin of her cheek bone. Removal of the skin lesion was performed. About two months later, facial fat transfer was done. This involves taking fat from around the belly button and injecting it within the face to improve volume loss and assist with scar healing. The fat is processed into small parts - micro and nanofat - which are rich in growth factors and stem cells. She is roughly 2 months post-procedure and is very happy with her results.
