Facial Rejuvenation Case #2327

This is a pleasant, 49-year old female who presented with facial volume loss. The most bothersome areas were under the eyes and cheeks. Fillers didn't provide the results she desired, so fat transfer was suggested. Fat is harvested from around the abdomen, flanks, and thighs and transferred to the face. The results can be quite natural and last 5-10 years on average. In this case, she had over 25 cc of fat injected between her cheeks, nasolabial folds, and marionette lines. At 6 months, she loves her result!

1. Notice the improvement in volume at the cheeks and the nasolabial folds. The light reflex is more pronounced and the shadowing less prominent.
2. The medial cheeks (aspect near the nose) are more full and the cheek bones are accentuated in the after photos.
3. Notice the projection of the cheeks which are more voluminous.
