This patient had a history of Bells Palsy facial paralysis several years earlier with incomplete recovery. She wished to improve her facial asymmetry and to restore a more youthful appearance. The patient underwent multiple staged surgical procedures to address her concerns. A chin augmentation was performed with a porous polyethylene implant. Post-operatively the patient has a marked improvement in the projection of her chin. The chin implant greatly improved her weak chin and provided an increase in projection all while improving her chin-neck angle.
