Primary Rhinoplasty Case #1650
Before
After
This patient is a healthy, 42-year old female who presented for a first-time rhinoplasty. She wanted to improve the appearance of her nose by rotating and refining her tip, smoothing her profile, and creating narrowness on the front view. Her nose was rotated upward by 20 degrees to eliminate the droop seen on profile and frontal views. In order to keep the nose in its new position, strong cartilage is needed and a structure-approach to rhinoplasty is used. She is 4 months post-operative and very happy with the improvement in her nose.
- Notice the width of the tip before as well as the droop underneath the nostrils.
- Notice the improvement in the profile, tip rotation, and refinement.
- The nose was noted to be very downturned or under-rotated. We improved the rotation by 20 degrees to a natural, feminine, aesthetic range. Her profile was also smoothed.
