Primary Rhinoplasty Case #1768
Before
After
This is a healthy, 42-year old female who presented with nasal deformity and obstruction. She suffered a major car accident in which trauma occurred to her nose - particularly at the tip area. The recommendation was made for open septorhinoplasty to correct the deformity and improve her breathing. Her septum and nasal tip were entirely reconstructed to a more functional, harmonious state. At 10 months post-operative, she's very happy with her result.
- Notice the narrowness on the front view and refinement of the tip. The light reflexes seen at the tip are closer together indicating a slimming effect.
- The profile line and tip are smoothed and improved and the rotation of the tip is better.
- Notice the "step-off" at the underside of the nose from prior trauma. This has been corrected and the nose has improved rotation, projection, and refinement.
- The severity of the scar on the columella is improved. The nasal tip has better projection and is narrowed.
