Blepharoplasty Case #2166

This is a healthy, 64-year old female who presented with a tired look and bags underneath her eyes. The recommendation was made for a subciliary lower blepharoplasty with fat repositioning. This means an incision was made beneath the eyelashes and the fat reduced in size and redraped to smooth the lower eyelid. The excess skin is then removed leading to a more open, refreshed look. At 3 months, she's thrilled with her result!

1. Notice the opening of the eyes and removal of the bags as well as extra lower eyelid skin.
2. The lower eye puffiness has disappeared and the incision below the eyelashes is unnoticeable.
3. The lower eyelid fat used to push the lower eyelid out. The after photo demonstrates the flattening effect.
