Primary Rhinoplasty Case #1718
Before
After
This is a healthy, 32-year old female who presented for first-time rhinoplasty. The patient wanted the bulbous appearance and crookedness on front view addressed and the profile largely kept the same - only downsized. During rhinoplasty, the tip was refined to a smaller size and straightened, and the nose brought in toward the face. This helped create better proportions and harmony within the face. The patient is happy with her result and her breathing is great.
- Notice the leftward deviation of the nose and the irregular shadowing. After, the nose is straight with defined lines and refined tip.
- The nose has been downsized and the tip is less bulbous.
- The changes on profile were intended to be subtle per request. The tip is downsized as is the projection (how far the nose sticks out from the face). Additionally, the bridge has been smoothed.
- Notice the leftward tilt of the nose pre-surgery. The nostril symmetry is better. The columellar scar is also largely unnoticeable.
