Primary Rhinoplasty Case #1771
Before
After
This is a healthy, 26-year old gentleman who presented for a primary rhinoplasty. He wanted to reduce his hump, refine his tip, and narrow his nostrils all while maintaining a natural appearance and his ethnicity. The recommendation was made for an open septorhinoplasty with cartilage grafting. His nasal tip was raised and refined, the nostrils narrowed, and the profile smoothed. At 1 year post-operative, he loves his result and his breathing is great.
- Notice the rightward deviation, bulbous tip, and wide nostrils in the pre-operative photo. After surgery, the nose is straighter, more refined, and maintains better balance especially at the nasal base and nostrils.
- The hump is present in the pre-operative photos as is the bulbous tip. The tip is refined and is more harmonious with the reduced dorsal hump in the after photo.
- The significant dorsal hump and hanging tip are improved in the post-operative photo.
- The tilt of the nose is improved as is the symmetry of the nostrils. The incisions on the columella and alar bases are unnoticeable.
