Revision Rhinoplasty Case #1924
Before
After
This patient is a healthy, 31 year old female who presented for a revision rhinoplasty. She had two prior rhinoplasties and noticed severe deformity develop after the most recent. Her main complaints were the skin thinness, narrowness on front view, lack of femininity, and excess nostril show. She underwent an open, revision septorhinoplasty which utilized ear cartilage and temporalis fascia. At 1 year, she is happy with her natural and refined look.
- Notice the overly narrowed bridge and midvault with an excessively defined, bulbous tip. After, the width of the nose is improved and imperfections smoothed.
- On three-quarter view, notice the irregularities of the bridge, skin thinness, and tip bulbousness on the before and overall refinement in the after photos. The nostril "show" is also less.
- The profile demonstrates hump reduction, improved definition of the tip, and less nostril show. The upper lip is also more relaxed due to a smaller overall nose.
