Revision Rhinoplasty Case #1925

This is a healthy, 38-year old female who presented for a revision rhinoplasty. Her first procedure was performed over 15 years prior and left her with an overly-uprotated nose with too much nostril show on front view. The profile also appeared very swooped. A revision rhinoplasty using rib cartilage was performed. Her nose was counter-rotated over 20 degrees leading to an improved profile and less nostril show on frontal view. At 9 months, she's ecstatic with her natural result.

1. Notice the straightening of the nose, decreased nostril show, and improvement in tip structure.
2. The three-quarter view demonstrates counter-rotation of the nasal tip and a better profile with a less "swooped" appearance.
3. The nose was counter-rotated approximately 20 degrees into the normal range of 95 - 105 degrees for a female. The profile is less swooped and the tip more refined.
4. The nasal tip is straightened and the alar base incisions remain improved compared with the prior surgery.
