Primary Rhinoplasty Case #1649
Before
After
This is a pleasant, young woman who presented with the request of tip refinement. She had no prior history of rhinoplasty. The recommendation was made for open rhinoplasty with an emphasis on the tip and its harmony with the bridge. The tip was refined, straightened, softened, and the supratip break of the nose made more gentle to create better harmony with her face. As with all rhinoplasties, her breathing was also significantly improved. She has healed quite nicely and, at 5 months, she is thrilled with her result.
- The nose is straighter and the tip softened in the after photos.
- The flow from the tip to bridge is more gentle and balanced.
- Compare the before and after photos to see the softening in the "supratip break" or the junction between tip and bridge. The tip is also more refined and rotation improved.
- The crookedness evident on base view has significantly improved. The scar on the columella is nearly unnoticeable.
